Narcissist Personality Disorder is a spectrum. The lower to mid functioning narcissists are mostly Overt Narcissists ( bordering on sociopathy) who are pretty unaware about their narcissistic behaviors. The higher and full functioning narcissists are Malignant Narcissists who are highly aware of their disorder and fall under the category of Psychopathic Narcissists. The higher functioning narcissists are a DANGER ZONE. They mimic your likes, dislikes, your personality, take over your successes, highly exploiting, highly strategic, cunning, manipulative, compulsive liars and Con artist who can charm you to drift you away from reality. These narcissists are sadistic and are serial cheaters in relationships. They want to make you miserable and weak and enjoy the sadistic pleasure at the cost of your miseries. The underlying reasons are their dominant feelings of insecurity, shame and worthlessness they feel from inside all the time.
