Established in 2016, Seoul Community Radio (SCR) is an online music broadcasting platform at the centre of Asia’s fast-growing electronic music community.
Since formation, the South Korea-based station has helped to inspire and nurture new DJ and artistic talent from home and abroad. Our goal to incubate fresh sounds and new faces has seen SCR co-create a regional network of like-minded radio stations and collaborate with some of the most forward-thinking brands across music, fashion and technology..
After nearly four years in our inaugural home, SCR recently opened ‘Studio Two’ - a unique radio + bar concept space in Itaewon. Studio Two will for the first time allow access to the public for certain events and will serve as culture centre for Seoul’s diverse music communities, hosting live shows, pop-ups, workshops and other artistic endeavours.
2016년에 설립된 Seoul Community Radio (SCR) 는 빠르게 성장하는 아시아의 일렉트로닉 뮤직계의 중심에 있는 온라인 음악 방송 플랫폼이다.
런칭 이후, SCR은 새로운 DJ들과 국내외 아티스트들에게 영감을 주고 재능을 고무시키는 데 도움을 주고 있다. 신선한 사운드와 새로운 인재들을 발견하려는 SCR의 목표는 비슷한 생각을 가진 다른 라디오 스테이션들과 함께 네트워크를 만들고, 음악, 패션, 기술에 걸쳐 가장 진보적인 브랜드들과 협력하는 것이다.
거의 4년 만에, SCR은 최근 Radio+Bar 컨셉의 ‘Studio Two’를 이태원에 오픈하였다. SCR Studio Two는 대중들에게 특정 이벤트들을 경험할 수 있게 하고, 서울의 다양한 뮤직 커뮤니티, 라이브쇼, 팝업 이벤트, 워크샵 및 기타 예술적 시도를 위한 문화적 역할을 하게 될 것이다.
