B'nai B'rith Center for Senior Services (CSS) Director Mark Olshan and Associate Director Janel Doughten speak with Robert and Jeff Cottingham about their experiences managing B’nai B’rith housing facilities for more than 40 years and how they have become invaluable members of the B'nai B'rith senior housing network.
Robert and Jeff Cottingham lead the Robert Cottingham Company (RCPMCO), which manages the Sam J. Stone B’nai B’rith Covenant Apartments in Peoria, Illinois.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the opening of the first B’nai B’rith senior housing building. Since 1971, B’nai B’rith International has been a sponsor of affordable housing for older adults through a partnership with local B’nai B’rith members and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Today, we are the largest national Jewish sponsor of subsidized housing in the United States, overseeing 38 properties and serving more than 5,000 residents.
