Centre Work: The Purpose of Trandem Tuition

Centre Work: The Purpose of Trandem Tuition

This is the first part of our series on why we sometimes use Trandem Work for training the horses who come to us to be taught to drive.

In this video, we focus on Centre Work, with the lovely Go-go, a young skewbald cob, who was already ridden at home and came to us to learn to drive.

He had a few issues with things on the nearside of the road - particularly drains and manhole covers - and was a little 'claustrophobic' when it came to working near obstacles (e.g. squeezing past hedges) and around other horses.

Listen to how we tackled some of those challenges and see how he got on working in the middle of the team.

For Go-go's individual work, check out his single video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhygOcNIaTU&t=6s
