This week we continue to look back on some walks in Oslo, this time from autumn to spring of 2019 and 2020. We walk to and through some of the most beautiful locations of the east-side of Oslo, such as Torshovparken and Torshovdalen, with its wonderful sculpture Hodet N.N. (The Head) by Marianne Heske, and to Sinsen as well a the upper parts of the river Akerselva, where we go for a walk towards Maridalsvannet. From there we take the subway home, which is almost empty due to the Covid-19 situation at that time in May of 2020. We also see kindergarten kids in Torshovdalen (with the giant head sculpture), who had to stay outside to be able to maintain some minimum of social distancing. At this point people were still not required to use masks, however.
