A waterfall in Raikal village has been attracting hordes of visitors for the last few days in Saidapur mandal. The picturesque waterfall is located amid a forest, about 42 kilometres away from the district headwaters in Saidapur mandal. The water at the scenic spot cascades down from about 200 metre-high hillocks named Jendagutta. There are another three small waterfalls above Jendagutta.
About 30 series of hillocks of Kotagiriguttalu are the main water source for waterfalls. When the monsoon begins, the waterfall comes alive and will continue for a period of three months. Though there is no proper road facility for the three kilometers distance from Raikal village to the waterfall, more than 500 people visit the spot every day in the rainy season. There were instances of traffic jams for six kilometer distance.
