Shouldn't all load bearing beams have support posts under them? Yes!...so why doesn't this one?...Part 1...good question!...is what this DIY howto video is about. VideoJoe is doing some inspecting under his house & he just noticed that there is a load bearing beam that doesn't have any posts under it to hold the weight of the beam which then holds up the weight of a section of the floor above! This house was built over 20 years & he's shocked that the Building Inspector never caught it on his framing inspection sign off! I'm now wondering what VideoJoe is going to do about it. The floor appears to be holding up fine but still.... Watch & learn as VideoJoeShows you what VideoJoeKnows...should all load bearing beams have supporting posts under them?...of course!...so why doesn't this one?...Part 1... Ah...!
