Moving to a new city? Or looking to buy a House in 2022? Then get to these 7 CITIES right now!
Potential home buyers and digital nomads are looking for new cities that are 1) Affordable, 2) Growing, and 3) Safe. Unfortunately, due to a big Housing Bubble, skyrocketing crime, and a struggling economy, these type of cities are few and far between.
EXCEPT FOR THESE 7. These 7 Cities are ones where real estate investors and remote workers looking to move should consider in 2022.
7) Greenville, South Carolina: Greenville has been appearing on more and more "Best Cities to Move to" lists. It has a strong economy with a 3.5% unemployment rate. And home prices are still reasonable at below $250k on average.
6) Indianapolis, Indiana: the home of the NCAA and Eli Lilly presents an intriguing combination of strong economic fundamentals with an affordable Housing Market.
5) Knoxville, Tennessee: low unemployment rate, reasonable crime rates, and sub-$250k housing market make Knoxville an increasingly attractive option for those looking to flee expensive states such as New York.
4) Omaha, Nebraska: home to the Oracle of Omaha - Warren Buffet. This is a Housing Market that barely got hit in the last Housing Crash. And an economy which has a miniscule 2.3% unemployment rate.
3) Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: the cheapest Housing Market on this list with a typical home price of only $188k. The local economy is also strong with a sub 3.0% unemployment rate. Crime is a bit high, however.
2) Cincinnati, Ohio: one of the lowest crime metros in America according to FBI data. The unemployment rate is close to the US average while home prices are still cheap.
1) Augusta, Georgia: home of the Masters Tournament, as well as a 3.5% unemployment rate. Wages are low at $24/Hour, however, this could be a great destination for retirees or remote workers.
