Italy: Tensions in Milan as thousands protest against mandatory 'Green Pass'

Thousands of people stormed Milan's streets on Saturday to demonstrate against the recently government-mandated decree making the 'Green Pass' mandatory in the workplace.

Protesters attempted to enter the city's main square but were temporarily blocked by riot police.

A short confrontation between protesters and police officers took place, but the demonstration ended without turning violent.
