With a rumored Battelfront 3 coming someday to us Star Wars fans, it seems we WON'T be getting it anytime soon, if at all...
It seems EA was pitched the idea by DICE and shot down because they would have to sell 20 percent more Star Wars Battlefront 3 copies than their own games to make the same amount.
I understand they need to make profit, but this is Star Wars, not some indi game that may be risky.
With Battlefront 3 we could have gotten a lot of the characters we wanted: Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu, Ahsoka Tano, Jango Fett, Revan, Plo Koon, and so many more.
I feel if EA Games were to make some DLC content like a new Anakin skin, or Vader skin, this would bring in big dollars for them.
It's unfortunate they rejected the idea, but I can't help but hope for Fallen Order 2 from them. Not to forget, the other licensed companies making Star Wars games, such as Ubisoft and Quantic Dream, which I hope and feel will be promising.
What do you think of this decision to reject Battlefront 3?
At the end of the day, it's all just numbers for these big corps.
