Water FROZE And BROKE The One VOLVO Part You Can't Buy

I traded my way up to this 2004 Volvo XC90 for free, now I'm working my way through rebuilding it. We've got the heater core done, now it's time to tackle all the other leaks cause by filling the cooling system with water. All the hoses need replaced, and the connection to the thermostat housing was broken off. I decided to start by tackling the complete thermostat housing replacement which seemed easy but ended up as a pile of broken parts.
