This particular weapon system is an AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher. This was originally a Soviet weapon system invented during the 1960's in response to American experimentation with Automatic grenade launchers.

It seems like Ukraine has gotten ahold of some of these weapons systems along with ammunition of recent manufacture.
