Non-teaching Staff of Adeyemi College of Education are currently on the Ore-Ondo highway blocking vehicular movement.
The staff who are stationed in front of the institution’s gate, said they are protesting the inability of the Buhari-led federal government to appoint a Vice-Chancellor for the College turned University.
Adeyemi College of Education was upgraded to a University status in January, but there are apprehension among the staff that the government has not appointed a VC for the institution, hence, casting a doubt on the status.
Meanwhile, vehicular movement has returned on the highway following the end of the protest.
