Main Idea: We must keep our eyes on God and His promises in order to live righteously and overcome the vagaries of this world.

A. An Attitude of Arrogance
1. God does not want your Best Life Now; He wants your best life to be eternal!
2. If your worship is futile, you’re serving the wrong god!
3. Arrogance toward the Lord always leads to disaster.
B. A Demeanor of Devotion
1. God reserves a remnant that is faithful.
2. God hears the words of His people.
3. God remembers the faithful forever.
C. A Difference of Destination
1. There will be a distinction.
2. There will be a difference.
