How an Impactful Moment is Created in a Novel (A Tale for the Time Being)

There often comes moments, in all sorts of entertainment media, where the build up towards a particular event or line can really allow that impactful moment to carry the weight of much of the story that has already gone by. This week, I take a look at one such moment in Ruth Ozeki's A Tale for the Time Being - how many of the topics and events in the novel come together to really bring alive what is both a really important moment for a main character, and what should be a particularly impactful one for the reader.

If you think I've got something incorrect, please leave a (pleasant) comment about it down below, I'll check it out. If you do so, make sure to use some sort of reliable source, in oppose to a generic website/YouTube video/Wikipedia. If I conclude that I was wrong, I'll pin a comment about it, or just pin your comment.
