If You See These Signs | The Presence of The Lord is With You!

God is an awesome God. You need to learn to say this as often as possible. He is so loving and kind. He has given you all that you will need in Christ. He has all these in His word. However, this does not stop the enemy from trying to attack you. It does not stop the enemy from coming with temptations. In Jesus, you have the power to fight over all the wiles of the enemy. His name is far greater than what you could have imagined. He has destined you for greatness.

How do you do know that God is on your side?
1) Favour: His favour singles you out. It makes you to do that which is impossible. You begin to receive undeserved blessings from God. Men begin to bring a lot of opportunities to you. They could be through men that you have never met before. That shows that you have the favour of God. Grace is an unmerited favour. That means that it is something that you do not deserve. God's favour is His grace. How God showed His grace was that he came to save us from the power of sin. This shows God's heart towards us. We find favour in His sight because of what Christ has done. Christ came to die for sins. He took away our shame and reproach and gave us complete freedom. It is not the freedom of this world. It is true freedom.
2) Love: The bible says that God loves us and that He is love. That means that for him to be on your side, you would have to experience love. God does not hold back His love from us. He gives it to us freely. God's love is kind. It is patient. It does not bear record of wrong. It does not envy. It does not boast.
The bible also said that he has shed his love abroad in our hearts. So God's love is available for us to bask in. Have you ever felt a time where you felt depressed or that no one could love you? There might be times where you feel lonely. You might feel like you have been rejected or left alone but I have an encouragement for you, and that is that God is on your side. He says that He will never leave us not forsake us. That is real. It must be real to you. You must come to believe all that God has done for you. This is the only way that you are going to enjoy true peace and liberty. God is not like man that keeps your past faults or that condems you. The bible says that he does not remember your sins. He can correct you but He does not condemn you. The bible say that there is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit. So if thoughts of condemnation come to you, it is certainly not from God. If thoughts of fear, anxiety, and worry knock on your door, remember the love of God that casts out fear. You know, sometimes, you need to remind yourself of God's promises, of how he has helped you in the past, of how he delivered you from the power of the enemy. This brings to your consciousness, the love of God. God is our Father. A father protects His children, he provides for them when they are in need. God's love covers us. So, when you are going through troubles, know that God is with you all the way and would not want anything bad to happen to you.

3) Peace: This world is full of troubles. You hear negative news here and there. The pandemic threw us out of balance and brought along a lot of challenges. Some people lost their loved ones, some lost their jobs, cases increased everyday and there is a temptation to ask God, "where are you in all this?".
Jesus says that the peace He gives is not of this world. His peace is there with us whether or not we are in troubles. He causes His face to shine upon and he gives us peace. The peace of God gives us calm where everywhere around us is in mayhem. Jesus was calm in the midst of a storm. He was sleeping in a boat while the winds were raging. His disciples had fear written all over their faces. They kept wondering why he was sleeping in a storm! They woke him up and what Jesus did next was the most amazing. Jesus simply said, "Be still" and the wind was still. That actually showed that He is peace himself. He was not troubled at all. It was not a false peace that was moved by the news around Him. Jesus was so convinced of the power of God.
When you are convinced of how great God is, you will truly have peace. That means that when you are faced with a particular challenge, you will first speak God's word. You know, the Psalmist says that I will be still and know you are God. When the troubles come like a storm, you will be still, in the peace of God. However, the peace of God is something that you have to consciously walk in because there will be every reason to be scared.
